Nancy Travis heads the cast of the new dramatic series about a rodeo dynasty.
“They’re coming to take everything away from us,” Isabel McMurray (Nancy Travis) warns her family in the premiere episode of Ride. “But we are never letting go.”
And that should tell you are you need to know about the grit and determination of Isabel — and everyone else in her close-knit clan — in the new weekly drama set to premiere at 9 pm ET March 26 on the Hallmark Channel.
According to Hallmark: “Ride is a multigenerational family ensemble following the lives of the McMurrays, part of a rodeo dynasty going back a generation, as they struggle to keep their beloved ranch afloat. After a tragic loss, each character embarks on an empowering journey of transformation and self-discovery while also uncovering a twisted web of secrets, threatening to tear the family and their small Colorado town apart at the seams.”
Nancy Travis — whose credits include the movies Three Men and a Baby, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Internal Affairs and, more recently, the TV series Last Man Standing, Mr. Mercedes and The Kominsky Method — heads a cast that also includes Tiera Skovbye (Nurses, Once Upon a Time), Beau Mirchoff (MTV’s Awkward), Sara Garcia (The Flash), Jake Foy (Designated Survivor) and Tyler Jacob Moore (Shameless).
