Official induction ceremonies are scheduled for Nov. 22 in Nashville.
Can we have the honor roll, please?
Ray Stevens (pictured above), Vince Gill, Don McLean, and Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives are among the luminaries who were named Friday as 2022 inductees for the Musicians Hall of Fame, along with engineer George Massenburg and producer Jim Guercio.
This Class of 2022 will be celebrated during formal induction ceremonies scheduled for Nov. 22 at Nashville’s historic Municipal Auditorium. Award-winning singer-songwriter Phil Vassar will serve as host for a program that also will feature performances by Rodney Crowell, Steve Miller, Wendy Moten, Mike Farris and others. A limited number of tickets are now available through Ticketmaster.
The Nov. 22 event will be the first Musicians Hall of Fame ceremony since 2019, and follows the passing of MHOF founder and CEO Joe Chambers, who died in September at the age of 68. Linda Chambers, his widow, who now serves as MHOF executive vice-president and COO, said in a prepared statement: “We’re proud to honor Joe’s legacy by celebrating this year’s inductees with a night of vibrant live music and special performances by legendary musicians.”
