Montana may not be big enough for all the opposing parties when the Paramount Network drama returns Nov. 13.
Dang! That sure was a short campaign!
In the just-released trailer for Season 5 of Yellowstone, John Dutton (Kevin Costner) is way past merely launching his bid to be elected governor of Montana — he’s already being sworn into office. And he’s obviously not going to be bound by the policies — or beholden to the staff — of his predecessor.
Fortunately, John has his faithful daughter Beth (Kelly Reilly) on hand to join his administration as Chief of Staff. And rest assured, Rip (Cole Hauser) — now his son-in-law — still has his back when the going gets tough.
But will this dynamic trio be able to put a monkey wrench in the machinations of Market Equities CEO Caroline Warner (Jacki Weaver), who seems more determined than ever to gain control of the Yellowstone Dutton ranch? Will Jamie (Wes Bentley) seek a reconciliation with John — or continue to craft new plans for revenge? And how will Jayce (Luke Grimes) be guided by whatever filled his mind during the vision quest that capped off Season 4?
We may — or may not — get answers to these questions Nov. 13, when Yellowstone kicks off Season 5 with two back-to-back episodes starting at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT on Paramount Network. But don’t be surprised if executive producer Taylor Sheridan keeps us hanging for a bit while we keep guessing what happens next.
Meanwhile: Paramount Network has launched the official Yellowstone Newsletter, which will feature exclusive photos, videos, news, episode recaps, giveaways, and more. Fans can subscribe by visiting the Yellowstone Twitter account today starting at 10 am ET.
