A new era of comfort in Western cowboy boots has hit store shelves. The Tech X™ collection from Twisted X® features the brand’s patent pending CellStretch® comfort technology. CellStretch is prominently featured in Twisted X’s work, outdoor and casual collections, but Tech X marks the first cowboy boot with this iconic cloud-like comfort built in.
“Each season, new cowboy boots show up in stores with little to differentiate from those before, but no one has felt or experienced a boot like this before,” says Twisted X CEO Prasad Reddy. “Twisted X has been working on this line for the last four years, and I’m excited to see what the future has in store as we pave the way toward a new chapter in footwear where we take comfort in Western boots to a whole new level.”
Historically, cowboy boots have mostly been built the same way with minimal advancements in comfort and technology, especially when compared to ever-changing lifestyle and athletic styles. Twisted X set out to challenge the status quo and design a boot that feels as good as it looks. CellStretch technology responds by activating more than 100 individual pressure points across the ball and heel of the foot without altering the profile of the boot to preserve the traditional Western look that customers demand.
“Twisted X is continuously seeking ways to bring innovative concepts and comfort technologies to the footwear industry, and Tech X is exactly that,” says Twisted X CMO Tricia Mahoney. “We started as a Western brand before growing into our other markets, so this new line is particularly meaningful to Twisted X, as it serves our most loyal customers and honors our heritage.”
The initial collection is offered in six men’s styles with a MSRP of $204.95. The next generation of Tech X styles are slated to arrive in Summer ’22 with four new men’s styles and three women’s styles.
