Runyon’s Fine Furniture was founded in 1994, when Andy and Bo Runyon purchased a warehouse as a real estate investment. But instead of reselling, the couple decided to utilize the space and try their hands at home goods.
Three decades later, their family-operated business has become renowned for its unique, upscale home collection, incorporating everything from Western and hacienda to traditional and contemporary designs. Out of its showroom in Roanoke, Texas, Runyon’s offers artisan furnishings in every shape, size, and style, as well as customizable pieces, a vast selection of original décor and home accents, and full interior design services.
Bo and her team of expert designers will elevate your space from floor to ceiling with fine upholstery and elegant details that each perfectly speak to your aesthetic. “We start with the furniture, then the wall décor and the lighting. We help put it all together,” she says. “When we leave a home, it has to be complete.
“We help our customers create their look, so they don’t have what everybody else has,” she says. “We help you bring the ranch, the farm into your home, so that it’s a reflection of your lifestyle.”
Bo admits that Western design is her favorite because it’s all about textures. “With Western, there’s so many things you can do,” she says. “We love working with Tibetan sheep, it’s fun. It’ amazing what you can do with different hides and leathers.”
Hair-on, exotic, hand-tooled, inlaid — custom leathers are the Runyon’s specialty. But what truly sets the company apart is its belief that the experience is just as important as the aesthetic.
“One of the things my wife and her designers do is they make it fun for our clients, instead of being something difficult,” says Andy. “They really take their time, spend a lot of time with them, and we have a lot of really satisfied customers.”
