Episode 408 is set to air at 7 pm ET Sunday on Paramount Network.
As Yellowstone nears the end of Season 4 — yes, time flies when you’re having fun — the good folks at Paramount Network are promising even more complications and confrontations for Montana rancher John Dutton (Kevin Costner) and his family, friends, temporary allies and bitter enemies.
According to the network, here are hints of what lies in store when Episode 408 — “No Kindness for the Coward” — airs at 8 pm ET Sunday: “Tensions escalate with the protestors, but Beth has a plan. Jimmy and Emily get closer. Monica and Kayce share a special moment.”
But wait, there’s more: Judging from this preview clip, Kayce (Luke Grimes) also will be dealing with an unwelcome visitor who may be, to quote the Duran Duran song, hungry like the wolf. Is this the same four-legged voyeur who spied on Kayce and Monica in an early episode last season while they were about to enjoy some al fresco afternoon delight? Is that Mo (Mo Brings Plenty) on the other end of the line, offering ambiguous advice about how to deal with the interloper?
Tune in and see. As usual, we will be Live Tweeting the episode at #ciYellowstone, and posting a recap soon afterwards. And stick around: We will be doing the same when Paramount Network and Paramount+ air the premiere episode of the eagerly-awaited Yellowstone prequel, 1883, with the hashtag #ci1883.
