Paramount Network is offering a Thursday-through-Sunday marathon of the popular contemporary western.
Granted, the fusillades of F-Bombs, occasional nudity, and other adult material in Yellowstone may disqualify the popular contemporary western series from ever being described as family-friendly entertainment. But that hasn’t stopped Paramount Network from offering viewers an invitation to spend quality time this Thanksgiving weekend — lots of time, actually — with paterfamilias John Dutton (Kevin Cosner) and the rest of his extended clan.
Which, of course, may be an irresistible offer for newbies who have wanted to play catch-up with the series — now in its fourth season — or for longtime fans who want to watch all the action all over again.
Season 1 episodes will air back-to-back beginning at 12 noon ET/11 am CT on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, followed by a marathon of Season 2 reruns kicking off at the same time Friday, Nov. 26. The Season 3 encore presentations air Saturday, Nov. 27 starting at — yes, you guessed it — 12 noon ET/11 am CT.
And all of the Season 4 episodes that have been shown so far this year will run and rerun from 11:14 am ET/10:14 am CT until 8 pm ET/7 pm CT Sunday, Nov. 28, when a brand-new episode — titled “Under a Blanket of Red” — premieres. For which Yellowstone devotees doubtless will be thankful.
But just remember: This ain’t kid stuff.
