The free streaming service offers classic TV westerns — such as “The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp” — and feature films.
We’re celebrating The National Day of the Cowboy on Saturday, July 24, and Tubi — the free ad-supported streaming service — has reminded us that you can celebrate the occasion for watching one or more of the classic TV and movie westerns available on its Nostalgia TV channel. Looming large on the menu: The Rifleman, The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp, Tales of Wells Fargo, The Range Rider, Buffalo Bill Jr. and The Adventure of Jim Bowie.
But wait, there’s more: Tubi also offers a Westerns channel with an even wider range of movies, serials and TV series, including Stagecoach, The Hired Hand, Appaloosa, Broken Arrow, Warlock, Bite the Bullet, The Rebel, Yancy Derringer, The Phantom Empire, Zorro’s Black Whip — and Walter Hill’s Last Man Standing, a kinda-sorta remake of Sergio Leone’s A Fistful of Dollars (which itself was an unauthorized remake of Akira Kurosawa’s Yojimbo) starring Bruce Willis and re-set in Depression Era Texas.
Happy viewing, partners.
