It’s a great day to be alive for Travis Tritt fans — we’re exclusively premiering the lyric video for his song “Set in Stone.”
Singer-songwriter Travis Tritt recently released Set in Stone, his first full-length studio album in more than ten years. Tritt describes the 11-song album as “getting back to a no-frills classic outlaw-country sound.” And we have to say, that’s a sound we can get used to.
The title track "Set in Stone," is co-written by Tritt, Brent Cobb, and Adam Hood.
Tritt told C&I it's "a song about creating a legacy that one can be proud of. It can be something as simple as working hard to provide for and protect your family or something more involved like starting and building a business. It also could be about taking pride in helping others on their journey through life. I think about things that someone would want to be written on their tombstone. That’s what 'Set In Stone' means to me."
And Tritt knows a thing or two about creating a legacy. The country musician known for hits like "It’s A Great Day To Be Alive" and "I'm Gonna Be Somebody" has earned two GRAMMY Awards, four CMA Awards, 20 Top 10 hits, and many more awards over his career.
C&I is excited to premiere the lyric video here.
