Just in time for Halloween, a new look at The King’s classic “(You're the) Devil in Disguise.”
She looked like an angel… but The King got wise.
And now, 57 years after Elvis Presley hit the charts with his classic “(You’re the) Devil in Disguise,” Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, has released a new music video for the song just in time for Halloween. It’s the handiwork of illustrator/animator/director Jimmy Simpson. And take it from us: It’s a hell of a lot of fun.
By the way: “(You're the) Devil In Disguise” was written by Bill Giant, Bernie Baum and Florence Kaye. Grady Martin, Scotty Moore and Harold Bradley all played guitar on this session. Other musicians on the song include D.J. Fontana and Buddy Harman on drums, Bob Moore on bass, Floyd Cramer on piano and Boots Randolph on sax and shakers. The background vocalists are The Jordanaires and Millie Kirkham.
To all involved, we say: Thank you very much, thank you very much.
