Up-and-coming artist Trae Sheehan debuts his music video for “Better Off.”
Gearing up for the release of his third album, Postcards from the Country, on September 18, West Virginia-raised country crooner Trae Sheehan gives audiences an entertaining sneak-peek with his track “Better Off.” The tune, a simple bluegrass, down-to earth track, bellows with confidence and self-empowerment.
“I wrote ‘Better Off’ while on tour in 2019,” says Sheehan. “The road is one of those places you really want to prove yourself to everyone listening. You may not have to, but you feel like it’s necessary. No matter the profession, lifestyle, or personal history, we all want to prove our worth, but it’s hard when we can hear doubt everywhere we go. ‘Better Off’ is a song for anyone with something to prove and it’s my attempt at telling off self-doubt.”
Staying true to the tune, Sheehan manifest the song’s effortless conviction into his music video. With just a guitar and his moving vocals, Sheehan brings to life his words of encouragement.
