Wynonna to Release Covers Album
Reba isn’t the only single-named lady country music icon with an upcoming release. Wynonna will cover the likes of John Prine, Slim Harpo, Fats Domino, Nina Simone, and more on the October 30 Anti- Records EP Recollections. Her husband, fellow musician Cactus Moser, worked on the record with her at their Tennessee farm during quarantine. Check out her take on Harpo’s “King Bee” blues classic for an early taste.

The Mavericks New Album Is en Español
Dallas’ basketball team aren’t the only Mavericks worth watching these days. The Mavericks, the 30-year-old South Florida alt-country-rockers, have embraced the sounds of members’ Latin heritage from their beginnings, but they just released their first Spanish-language record, en Español.
