The 61st annual Wrangler National Finals Rodeo is now in full swing in Las Vegas.
Wrangler kicked off the 10-day rodeo extravaganza Wednesday night with a big bash at the Ling Ling Club at Hakkasan in the MGM Grand Hotel. The celebration featured acrobatic performers, a sword swallower and juggler, music, Pendleton whisky, and, naturally, plenty of classic cowboy spirit. Hundreds of industry influencers attended the party, including Miss Rodeo America contestants, Western retailers, and athletes.
Speaking of athletes…
This year’s WNFR UTV brand, Polaris RANGER, announced a new elite group of competitive rodeo athletes dubbed TeamRANGER. Six rodeo athletes make up the team: no-introduction-needed star Trevor Brazile, champion barrel racer Lisa Lockhart, bull rider and five-time PRCA champion Sage Kimzey, champion tie-down roper Tyson Durfey, three-time PRCA World Champion bareback rider Tim O’Connell, and four-time PRCA World Champion bareback rider Kaycee Field. Together the team members hold more than 40 regular season wins.
The Ranger-sponsored competitors will be making appearances beyond the arena — including at the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation “Hunter & Outdoor Christmas” exposition at the Las Vegas Convention Center — throughout the week and will be available to sign autographs and take photographs.
