Pour joy into the season by mixing these festive and easy cocktails yourself.
F&R Distilling Co. is creating new traditions to help you pour some joy into the greatest season of the year. Last year, TX Whiskey released a limited edition bottle for the holidays that was so popular the bottles were gone within days of their release. This year, TX is bringing back the special edition bottles with a new design: a wreath laced with gold ribbon for TX Whiskey, and silver snow finished with a bow for TX Bourbon. But the bottles aren’t the only things that are special about TX during the holidays—it’s about what you can do with the whiskey that’s inside.
Here are four of TX’s holiday cocktails that anyone could make and everyone can enjoy.
TX Evergreen
Shake 2 oz. TX Bourbon with .75 oz. lemon juice, .5 oz. honey, and 1 sage leaf. Garnish with another sage leaf before serving.
TX Hazelnut Coffee
Combine 1 oz. TX Bourbon with 1 oz. hazelnut liqueur and 3 oz. hot coffee. To make hazelnut whipped cream, fold two parts whipped cream with one part hazelnut spread. Top coffee with hazelnut whipped cream before serving.
Harvest Moon
Shake 2 oz. TX Whiskey with 2 oz. pineapple juice, 1 spoonful brown sugar, and a pinch of cinnamon. Top with another pinch of cinnamon before serving.
TX S'mores
Combine 2 oz. TX Whiskey and 3 oz. hot chocolate in a warm mug. Top with 6 marshmallows and 1 graham cracker before serving.
