The second public auction of Western artifacts from the extensive private collection of Buddy and Paulette King takes place October 26 and 27.
Years ago, Buddy and Paulette King came up with the idea of putting together a collection of the best Western artifacts in the country. To find those items—and to have while doing it—the Kings traveled across the country in search of all things Western. Since then, they have amassed a collection of more than 3,000 quality artifacts from the Old West.
This impressive collection will be dispersed in several large auctions, the second of which takes place October 26 and 27 in Waco, Texas. It starts at 10 am on both days.

The first auction took place in March and attracted more than 3,000 bidders from around the world. At this second auction, more than 600 items will be offered, including collector-grade firearms, antique American furniture and accessories, original Western art by Bruce Greene, Bob Schriver, U. Grant Speed, Melvin Warren, and Joe Beeler, a large vintage and contemporary spur collection, country store collectibles as well as plenty of antique showcases and fixtures.
Highlighting the offerings is a Bohlin double gun rig that once belonged to The Lone Ranger himself, Clayton Moore.
