27 tracts of the 1,400-acre ranch in Fort Laramie, Wyoming, will be auctioned May 22, 2019.
Pine Ridge Ranch will head to auction at the Goshen County Rendezvous Center in Torrington, Wyoming, on May 22 at 10 a.m. There are 27 tracts of land available, and the star of the show will be Tract 1, which currently includes The Fort Laramie Bed and Breakfast.
“Tract 1 would make a terrific bed and breakfast, corporate retreat, retirement home, cattle ranch, or place to get away from the hustle bustle of city life,” said owner Kathy Tollefson in a press release. “We have loved our time here in every way. The sunsets and views are unmatched, the grass is fabulous for livestock, the wildlife is abundant, and your neighbors are your friends.”

The bed and breakfast property includes a bunk house, officer’s quarters, restroom facilities, and a 3-bedroom/2.5-bath home with an oversized detached garage.
Another exciting option is Tract 13, which covers 40 acres and features a newly remodeled 1,600-square-foot, 3-bedroom/2-bath home in addition to gravel roads, an electric line, and a water well.

“Pine Ridge Ranch offers the opportunity to purchase a piece of authentic Wyoming with spectacular views and wide open spaces,” Scott Shuman of Hall and Hall Auctions says. "Buyers can build a retirement retreat or purchase an established cattle ranch that goes back to the homesteading days.”
According to Shuman, the other 25 tracts are mostly blank slates that span in size from 35.5 acres to 102.6 acres. Eight of the tracts include wells, gravel roads are maintained throughout, and there is power to every tract line. Inspections took place April 17 and May 1.
