Country singer Carly Pearce performs “Hide the Wine,” live at the Grand Ole Opry.
Following the release of her highly acclaimed debut album, Every Little Thing, rising country star Carly Pearce is poised to be the next big thing in country music.
After dropping out of high school at age 16 to perform at Dolly Parton’s theme park, Dollywood, Pearce homeschooled and worked odd jobs before leaving her home in Taylor Mill, Kentucky, at age 19 for Nashville. There she would go on to sign with Big Machine Records and release her debut single, “Every Little Thing,” which went to No.1.
Since her debut, Pearce’s fast success has led to an ACM nomination for New Female Vocalist of the Year and the distinction of topping Billboard’s Country Airplay chart with her debut single — only the third time in about a dozen years that a woman accomplished that feat.
Recently, Pearce made a stop at the Grand Ole Opry to perform her hit single “Hide the Wine,” a song that finds her taking precautions against the temptation of an ex-boyfriend who’s back in town.
