Rising country star Jackie Lee and his family give a memorable performance of the Brooks & Dunn song “Believe,” in memory of Lee’s late mother.
As a child, Jackie Lee always had a connection to music. Hi dad was a professional musician. Lee spent his free time singing at church in his picturesque hometown of Maryville, Tennessee. As an adult, he decided to move to Nashville to pursue a career in country music.
Lee has since released several singles, including “She Does,” a song that reached the Top 50 on the Country Airplay charts; and his biggest his so far, “Getting Over You,” a romantically charged track geared to be a turning point in Lee’s career.
In honor of his milestone 40th appearance at the Grand Ole Opry, we’re taking a look back at what has to be his most memorable performance. After singing a tear-inducing version of the Brooks & Dunn song “Believe” in honor of his late mother, Lee and his family earned a standing ovation from the audience. Watch the heartfelt performance.
