Country newbie Luke Combs has set three pop-up shows in Nashville, Chicago, and Asheville, North Carolina, in anticipation of his upcoming album, This One’s for You.
Fresh off the success of his first country radio No. 1 single “Hurricane,” singer-songwriter Luke Combs is ready to hit the stage again to promote the release of his first studio album, with a twist.
Taking “Hurricane,” to heart, Combs joined fellow storm-chasing friend Jim Cantore on AMHQ: America’s Morning Headquarters on The Weather Channel to announce three back-to-back album preview shows in advance of the release of his highly anticipated album This One’s For You, out June 2.
Combs will kick off the celebration with fans at Joe’s on Weed in Chicago on May 30 and The Basement East in Nashville on May 31, before capping off the party at The Grey Eagle in his hometown of Asheville, North Carolina, on June 1.
Fans can expect Comb’s signature rowdy high-energy live performances of favorites from his first three self-released EPs and exclusive new songs off his new album.
“Some of my best memories of the songs off this album are playing them live at bars and clubs around the country for a rowdy crowd. I can’t think of a better way kick off release week for this record than getting loud, playing these songs, and having a beer with fans in some of my favorite cities,” Combs says in a press release.
If you can’t make those dates, fear not — you can still be part of the rowdy release. Combs has teamed up with Jim Cantore and The Weather Channel on “Tracking Luke Combs,” an interactive experience that will allow fans to follow Luke’s tour, get an inside view of each show, and have an opportunity to glimpse Luke’s life on the road.
