Jason Aldean performs “A Little More Summertime” during Opry Goes Pink in Nashville.
It’s that time of year when summer is sneaking up on us. To get ready for the fun that’s to come, we just need to turn up a little country. What better song to set the seasonal mood than Jason Aldean’s performance of “A Little More Summertime” live at the Grand Ole Opry.
Aldean began his professional career with the release of a self-titled studio album in 2005. Today, he has seven studio albums and 18 singles that have reached No.1 on Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay. Some of his biggest hits include chart toppers “The Truth,” “Big Green Tractor,” and “Night Train.”
Recently, the Country Music Hall of Fame announced it would be opening a new exhibit on May 26 centered around the Georgia-born singer and current ACM Entertainer of the Year. The exhibit, Any Ol’ Barstool, will catalog memorabilia from Aldean’s home and will showcase his impact on country music and how he broke into the mainstream music business.
