Clint Black adds new dates to his On Purpose tour.
Legendary musician Clint Black is hitting the road again for his On Purpose tour starting August 13 in New Jersey. From there, the country music icon will continue with 15 different shows before closing on December 15 in Santa Ynez, California.
Black’s tour will showcase songs off of his newest album, On Purpose, as well as his classic hits spanning an impressive and notable career that has produced 22 No.1 singles and made him one of the most successful singer-songwriters in country music today.
“Performing live in concert is the most rewarding part of my career,” Black said in a press release. “It’s a chance every night to connect with people through music and laughter in an exchange with the audience that goes beyond just playing music. For all of the travel and time away from our families, it’s that connection with the audience that makes it all worthwhile.”
Some notable songs from Black include his triple platinum debut “Killin’ Time,” “Put Yourself in My Shoes,” and, most impressively, more than three dozen chart hits that were written or co-written by Black, including “A Better Man,” “Where Are You Now,” “When My Ship Comes In,” “A Good Run of Bad Luck,” “Summer’s Comin’,” “Like the Rain,” and “Nothin’ But the Taillights.”
