Caroline Spence’s music video for “Hotel Amarillo” gives a preview of her second album, Spades & Roses.
Caroline Spence’s upcoming album, Spades & Roses, being released on March 3, has already grabbed the attention of Rolling Stone Country, which premiered the record’s first single, “Slow Dancer.” The site praised the singer-songwriter from Charlottesville, Virginia, for her “feather-light voice that evokes the best singers of the Lilith Fair era.”
But it’s her songwriting that has made fans of stars like Miranda Lambert and ensconced Spence among the respected ranks of the East Nashville singer-songwriter underground.
NPR Music recently premiered the official music video — “a tour diary of sorts across Texas and Oklahoma” — for Spence’s new single with a headline that prompted “Check Into Caroline Spence’s Heartbreaking ‘Hotel Amarillo.’”
We encourage you to do the same: Watch the new video here. Find Spence’s upcoming tour dates below.
