Shane Owens’ acoustic music video for “19” premieres on Country Rebel.
In celebration of Veterans Day, promising up-and-coming artist Shane Owens is releasing his acoustic music video for his song “19” on the world’s largest country music network site, Country Rebel. The song tells the story of a local football star signing up for the military straight out of high school following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001; it ends tragically with a description of the young hero’s ultimate sacrifice.
The patriotic track is a single off of Shane Owens’ upcoming album Where I’m Comin’ From, which is being released through digital retailers December 9. A portion of the Veterans Day pre-sale of the album will go to the Journey Home Project, a nonprofit organization cofounded by Country Music Hall of Fame member Charlie Daniels to support active military, veterans, and their families.
Along with the donation, by preordering the album, you can instantly receive the song “Chicken Truck” (featuring John Anderson), the extended version of “Where I’m Comin’ From,” and “19.” Visit his online store to buy the album.
The the music video is online now.
C&I salutes all our veterans and active military.
