Texas Tea Party

Fall is in the air, which means it’s time for football and the State Fair of Texas. Austin-based Zhi Tea is combining both with a booth at the Food & Fiber Pavilion where you can do a little Texas tea tasting. Try their new limited edition blends honoring the legendary Red River Shootout: There’s the Longhorn Limited, a brilliantly colored burnt orange red bush tea with flecks of real coconut, and the Sooner ‘n Later blend, a hibiscus tea with crimson berries. If your loyalties lie elsewhere, there’s also the Austin Breakfast blend and Sweet Texas Dreams blend, which combines Texas lavender, lemongrass, and hibiscus. Whether you favor burnt orange or crimson, fans of all colors will be able to enjoy a healthy antioxidant-packed start to their big game day.
