The Office Party & Mistletoe Margarita: Tequila Cocktail Recipes for the Holidays

The holidays are just around the corner and ‘tis the season to start celebrating winter’s pleasures — especially when it comes to your favorite cocktails. Whether it’s holiday folly with family and friends or festive functions with coworkers, Sauza and Hornitos tequilas have the ultimate holiday hooch recipes. These two recipes are sure to enhance everyone’s “spirits” this winter. Cheers, or, in this case: Salud!
The Office Party
1 12 parts Hornitos Plata Tequila
1 part fresh lime juice
12 part ginger syrup
12 part Grenadine
Red bell pepper
Lime wedge
Muddle red bell pepper in mixing glass to extract juice. Mix all other ingredients and shake gently. Strain over ice and garnish with a wedge of lime. If making shots, shake vigorously and strain into shot glasses.
Mistletoe Margarita, Serves 4
16 ounces of cranberry juice
6 ounces of Sauza Blue 100% Agave Tequila
8 mint leaves for garnish
8 ounces lemon soda
Combine all ingredients except mint leaves in a pitcher. Serve each glass with 2 mint leaves. Serve cold or iced. If you want to rim the glasses with sugar before pouring the margaritas. Run a lime wedge around the edge of the glass and then dip the rim of the glass in a plate of sugar.
