Kristin Chenoweth's Oscarcast Show-Stopper
During Sunday evening’s Oscarcast, many Cowboys & Indians readers likely will be focused most intently on the Best Picture race, to see whether Steven Spielberg’s acclaimed Lincoln takes home the grand prize, or if Quentin Tarantino’s audacious Django Unchained pulls off a stunning upset. (Justified star Walton Goggins probably would be happy with either outcome.)
But don’t be too quick to tune out once the final envelope is opened. According to Oscarcast producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, host Seth MacFarlane and recent C&I cover gal Kristin Chenonweth are planning something special to round out the evening.
“After the Best Picture award has been given,” Zadan and Meron announced this week, “Seth and Kristin will perform a special number — and we think it will be a ‘can’t miss’ moment.”
Speaking of MacFarlane: He’s reportedly still a-hankering to shoot his comic western A Million Ways to Die in the West this summer, with a planned Summer 2014 release. And it’s looking like the co-star of another Best Picture nominee may be playing one of the lead roles.
