Take a Stroll on the Texas Wine Lovers Trail
Wine and chocolate: romantic stuff that, together, is the definition of “a sure thing.” Texas Hill Country Wineries wants to help you with that. February 8 – 17, the booster organization is hosting the Texas Wine Lovers Trail (WLT), beginning with the Wine Lovers Kick-off Tasting, Friday, February 8. (Actually, the event is one of a series preceding each self-guided trail tour. So, if you miss the first, there will be plenty of other bouquets and legs for later.) Each fete is $25 ($15 with your WLT ticket) and includes tastings of 10 local wineries, heavy appetizers and a casual, fun evening in the Hill Country.
WLT tickets start at $35 for a single pass and go for as much as $90 for couples passes with entry to the respective kick-off party. Each WLT package includes one and up to three complimentary tastes of wine per person at each winery, one box of eight assorted cake balls from LaBouchee, of Waxahachie, Texas — with flavors like Red Velvet, Fire Cracker, Italian Crème, and Cherry on Top — per ticket (single and couple), as well as a 15% discount on three bottle wine purchases at each winery (winery choice).
How can you resist falling in love with a deal like that?
