Learn the basics of color theory and color mixing using only the three primary colors: blue, red, yellow (plus white in oil or acrylic). Painting with just the primaries may seem simple, but you will discover the unlimited palette you can create for landscapes, skies, still lifes, people, and animals without having to search through a crowded palette or make an emergency run to the art supply store. We will also explore what to paint and where to find inspiration, how to learn from others, past and present, and how to develop your own style. This class is open to artists of all ability levels.
