The Fourth Annual Cimarron Cowboy Music and Poetry Gathering will be held August 25 and 26, 2017 at the Philmont Scout Ranch near Cimarron, NM. Western Music Association (WMA) 2016 Cowboy Poet of the Year, Floyd Beard, will highlight the roster of 20 performers. WMA award nominees Terry Nash, Dennis Russell, Dale Page, Doug Figgs, and Jim Jones will also perform during the Friday and Saturday night shows. All performers will perform at the day-long Saturday outdoor performance at the Villa Philmonte's expansive grounds. Join us for the best of Western music in the style of the Sons of the Pioneers and Marty Robbins and cowboy poetry like that of S. Omar Barker and Badger Clark. Food and drinks available on the premises. Two-person luxury tents with platforms, beds, electricity, and nearby private showers are available for rent on Friday night for $10.
