Jean Marie Clarke, founder of Pax Philomena, is on a mission to share her life-long love and passion for beautiful textiles through this transnational clothing line. A quintessential citizen of the world, Jean Marie was born in Calcutta, India to Anglo-Indian parents whose families had been living in India for five generations. She emigrated to America at a young age as a British citizen and was raised in Phoenix, Arizona where the Pax Philomena atelier is located in her historic 1927 adobe house, which was featured in Phoenix Home & Garden.

Comfort and style are wrapped up in one in the line, which includes one-size kaftan dresses, mermaid dresses, pajamas, night gowns, tunics, men's shirts, boxers, and coverups for the beach. The one size dresses make great gifts.

With our exclusive Prickly Pax cactus print we salute the epic saguaro cactus that is found only here in the beautiful state of Arizona. The best woodblock cutters had to be found to carve this design into the blocks used to print this tiny cactus in such exquisite detail. The tassels on drawstrings are hand beaded.
