“Hey, baby, you’re making me, making me, making me change my state of mind …” Watch this and you’ll see why.
If you liked the sound of Bailey Callahan’s song “State of Mind” when we premiered it a while back, you don’t have to wonder anymore what this platinum powerhouse looks like when she’s rocking out.
Cuz we’re debuting the video right here, right now.
“The imagery in the lyrics of ‘State of Mind’ really spoke to me, which is why I decided there was no better way to tell the story than shooting a music video,” says the “jeep-driving, songwriting all-around American girl from Orlando, Florida” now residing in — where else? — Music City.
"While we were shooting the gas station scene, multiple people approached me to take pictures,” Callahan says. “It caught me off guard and made me feel like I was famous for a second. At one point, the clerk blocked the door to make sure we could get our necessary shots.”
She’s “beyond thrilled” to release her very first music video to show people what her music looks like from her point of view.
We sure liked seeing it her way.
Bailey is currently in the studio recording her next full-length album, which is anticipated to release next spring.
