Easton Corbin sings “A Girl Like You,” live at the Grand Ole Opry.
Inspired by country television programs like Hee Haw, Florida native Easton Corbin lived on a farm with his grandparents after his parents got divorced. There he was exposed to county music, which inspired him to buy a guitar and take lessons with musician Pee Wee Melton at Dixie Music Center.
Corbin has released three full albums and has received three American Country Awards: Breakthrough Artist of the Year, Single by a New Artist, and Music Video by a New Artist.
His self-titled debut album, released in 2010, reached No. 4 on U.S. Country charts and produced his two biggest hit singles, “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It.” His second album, All Over the Road, reached No. 2 on U.S. Country charts, while his most recent album, About to Get Real (2015), reached No. 1.
He got wider recognition when he was an opening act on the North American leg of Carrie Underwood’s hugely successful 2016 Storyteller Tour.
Recently on tour promoting his upcoming fourth studio album, Corbin made a stop at the Grand Ole Opry to perform his latest single, “A Girl Like You.” Watch the performance below.
