Up-and-coming country star Luke Combs shares the story behind his debut album This One’s For You backstage at the Grand Ole Opry.
Fresh from the release of his debut album This One’s For You, talented country artist Luke Combs’ career has taken a tremendous turn, breaking records with each new single.
The North Carolina native has been singing since childhood, performing with multiple vocal groups through high school, but it wasn’t until Combs was in college where he would play his first solo country music show at the Parthenon Café in Boone, North Carolina. Now the singer has made a giant adjustment, promoting his debut album in some of the most iconic country music stages in the country, including the Grand Ole Opry.
Combs first single “Hurricane” was a strong start for the singer’s career, breaking records as the first multiweek No. 1 single for a debut country artist since Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise.”
His beautiful single “When It Rains It Pours,” premiered with a live performance on NBC’s Today and hit the radio airwaves on June 19, 2017.
