This month’s group show focuses on non-domestic animals. The show will include exotic as well as native wild animals. Patricia Hunter’s realistic style watercolors of various African species become very contemporary through her unorthodox compositions. The great physical strength of Greg Dye’s wild bison is portrayed in his thick pallet knife paintings that are contemporized with vivid wild hues. Timothy Chapman invents his own wild species. Ron Russon’s portrayal of wildlife has a subtle hint of native spiritualty combined with bold contemporary colors and lines. These artists as well as work by several artists will be displayed.
