The South Texas Cowboy Gathering & Western Music Festival proudly celebrates the "cowboy way of life" on May 5 - 6, 2017 through a great mix of cowboy and western music, poetry and storytelling. You won't want to miss this year's outstanding line-up of multi-award winning performers including R. W. Hampton, Mikki Daniel, Mike Blakely, Jill Jones, Calvin Hampton, Jim Jones, Pipp Gillette, Tin Roof plus other great performers. Our program kicks off Friday evening with a Campfire Happy Hour with chuckwagon hors d' oeuvres where you can mix and mingle with performers and festival attendees and be serenaded by Jill Jones. Then R. W. Hampton will host an All Star Jam Session followed by an Open Mic Pickin' & Grinnin' Session. On Saturday, your day will be filled with the finest western entertainment you can find anywhere. Finish up your day at our Cowboy Steak Dinner & Concert and then tap your toes or two-step with your partner at a great Saturday Night Dance featuring the Rocky King Band.
