Visitors will experience the California Gold Rush as they walk through the historic tent town and listen to miners’ tales, take a carriage ride, enjoy period music, visit Sutter’s Mill, and interact with historical figures. The event is free, there is an $8 per vehicle Park Day Use fee. Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park is located in Coloma on Highway 49 between Placerville and Auburn. Dog-free event except service animal.
