May 5, 6, & 7, 2017 are dates to mark on your calendar! The Gene Autry, Oklahoma Museum is hosting the Cowboy Way Fest 2017.
Three full days of Cowboy Music, Films, TV Shows, Celebrities, Vendors and even Chuck Wagon Food! Admission Tickets are $25 per day if purchased in advanced or $35 @ the Door. The Oklahoma Chapter of the Western Music Association along with Friends of the Gene Autry, OK Museum are bringing this great event to Gene Autry, Oklahoma!
Two evening concerts are scheduled — Friday night, May 5, 2017, the Sons of the Pioneers will be in concert at 8pm. Ain’t Misbehavin’ featuring Devon Dawson, Haley Sandoz, Leah Sawyer with Devon Dawson open at 6pm along with Robert & Susie Case of A Little Farther West. Sons of the Pioneers is one of the longest running continual groups in the country having been founded in the 1930s by Leonard Sly (aka “Roy Rogers”). They specialize in the harmonies found in cowboy music (the Western part of Country & Western).
The concert scheduled for Saturday night, May 6, 2017 begins at 6pm with Jody Miller’s trio Three Generations opening for the 8pm concert featuring Rex Allen, Jr., son of famed singing cowboy Rex Allen. Playing with Mr. Allen will be Les Gilliam, the Oklahoma Balladeer. Both evening’s concerts are $25 per person for advanced tickets, $35 per person @ the door (if seats are still available).

- Ain’t Misbehavin’ with young stars in the making Hailey Sandoz on fiddle and Leah Sawyer, the young lady with the BIG voice. Devon Dawson will fill in for Kristyn Harris who will be performing solo on Sunday, May 7.
