Mark your calendars now for the third annual Bob Wills Fiddle Festival & Contest, taking place Thursday, Oct. 6, through Sunday, Oct. 9 in Greenville, Texas. Events include the Oct. 7 Kenneth Threadgill Concert Series triple bill with Asleep at the Wheel, Dale Watson and the Jason Roberts Band joined by Texas Playboy Leon Rausch, and the Oct. 8 concert with the Time Jumpers, featuring Vince Gill, Kenny Sears, “Ranger Doug” Green and Paul Franklin. Both shows will take place at the Greenville Municipal Auditorium, 2821 Washington St., Greenville, Texas. Ticket prices for reserved seats for the Oct. 7 show are $36 to $56; reserved seats for for the Oct. 8 show are $35 to $55.
