The Cheyenne Heart of the West Festival showcased folk art, cowboy poets, western musicians, storytellers, and artisans at the Plains Hotel, the Cheyenne Depot, and the Atlas Theatre. It celebrated historic traditions of the authentic old West through concerts, pioneer roundtable discussions, and living history presentations, vendors, and a cowboy church service.
The Magic City Bluegrass Festival featured four top-notch bluegrass bands performing at Cheyenne’s Lions Park Amphitheater. In addition, the festival featured a hands-on workshop where fans learned from the musical talent of band members. All performances and activities were free.
Don't miss next year's two-fest celebration, scheduled for Labor Day weekend, Sept. 3-5, 2010.
