Cowboy Stars
A true cowboy and craftsman, Edward H. Bohlin opened his saddle shop during the Golden Age of western film and became renowned as the saddlemaker to the stars, building an extensive clientele of Hollywood elites that included Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, Tom Mix, and Dale Evans. For the first time since Edward’s death in 1980, The Bohlin Company, known today for its handcrafted silver accessories, is once again making the hand-tooled saddles and other luxury leather goods that its founder was so famously known for creating. And to celebrate the reopening of its custom leather shop, The Bohlin Company has introduced the Star Cowboy boots (shown) in a limited edition of seven pairs. These custom boots feature saltwater crocodile vamps, hand-carved and -filigreed tops, and kangaroo liners, and boast 73 stars made of 14kt rose gold. And just so no one mistakes your pair, the soles are inset with your initials in—what else?—solid gold.
