Turquoise Treasures

Embedded in the West

Quite possibly the first gemstone, turquoise has been revered across cultures for hundreds of centuries. It encrusted the Egyptian tomb of King Tut, was worn by Roman gladiators to bring them good fortune in battle, and has always been sacred to Native Americans. Fast-forward to the 21st century, and turquoise remains embedded in the West — and in the designs of D&D Farm and Ranch. What started as a bumper company in South Central Texas in 1959 has evolved into a one-stop shop for all things Western, including eye-catching accessories that bare the beautiful blue gem cowgirls can’t get enough of. Mixing metals and leathers to create a collection of fine jewelry, handbags, and even spurs decorated with the precious stone, D&D continues the turquoise tradition, expertly outfitting the West in bright shades of blue.
