Behind the scenes at the Next West photo shoot in Fort Worth, Texas.
No big news that the Lone Star State is one of the birthplaces of cowboy culture. Right here in Cowboys & Indians’ hometown of Dallas-Fort Worth, we’ve got the Old West and the Next West living side by side. So it made sense that when we researched up-and-comers in the Western lifestyle, we started right in our own backyard. After rounding up a dozen or so nearby young guns from all walks of Western life, a bunch of us got together at Rios Interiors in the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District to celebrate cowboy culture. And because we can never resist a great photo op with friends, we naturally broke out the cameras.
