A Classic Collection Gets a New Brand

After more than 30 years as Bilagaanas Fine Jewelry, the company of designer Craig Blanchard has been reorganized as The Blanchard Collections with the launch of Blanchard Fine Jewelry and Blanchard SW, a line of Southwest-style designs. Speaking of the two new jewelry lines bearing his name, Blanchard assures customers that “the collections will maintain the quality and standard of workmanship synonymous with Bilagaanas’ reputation.” With everything from necklaces to chains, cuffs to earrings, and rings to bolos, the collections offer a full selection of accessories for both men and women fashioned in sterling silver and 14kt gold and featuring a vast range of semiprecious stones. The artisan collections are being introduced in trunk shows at select stores across the country. But Blanchard is not stopping there: His plans include phasing in two boutique lines of more affordable jewelry. The pieces will be crafted entirely in sterling silver and inlaid with more moderately priced semiprecious stones but will still bear the unmistakable Blanchard look. Prices range from $49 to $2,000.
