A Renaissance man, to say the least, John Schneider has distinguished himself not just in movies and on TV. In 1995, he founded FaithWorks Productions to produce family-oriented films and recordings. And he has thrown his philanthropic weight behind causes from alleviating children’s suffering (he co-founded the Children’s Miracle Network with Marie Osmond) to advocating for animals (click here to see his YouTube video for Thanking the Monkey: Rethinking the Way We Treat Animals). And, oh, by the way, the guy can sing — he has released nine studio albums, 18 singles, and a greatest-hits compilation that’s notable for its many Billboard country chart toppers and the very ’80s cover photo of Schneider playing air guitar.
