10/10/11Native Myths and Legend at the PhippenWilliamson Tapia is passionate about painting natural subjects - so much so that he's painted the outdoors in Sedona and the Verde Valley since 1978. Tapia is just one of six artists featured in the Phippen Museum’s new exhibition, Native Myths and Legends, which wraps up October 16th, 2011. The exhibit features the artwork of six different prominent Native American artists from around the West, each exploring their rich cultural heritage and traditions through unique art forms and varied techniques. The Phippen Museum is located just a few minutes north of downtown Prescott at 4701 Highway 89 North.
