Mapping New Mexico's Breweries
If ever there was a time to make sure you took a left turn at Albuquerque when you are supposed to take a left turn at Albuquerque, it would be when following New Mexico Brewers Guild's guide to the state's quaffable treasure. The map and pamphlet (downloadable here or clicking by the sweet image below) offers the craft beer enthusiast, beer geek, and hophead several beer trails. In the Duke City, cyclists can opt for the "Gears & Beers" route, hitting La Cumbre, Nexus, and Chama River brewing companies. A walking tour is an option in Santa Fe. Of course, the Abbey Beverage Company, operated by Benedictine monks at the only beer-producing monastery in the United States, is a brewery of obligation.
The first beer's on you.
