Tarantino gathers his posse

Remember when we told you a few months back that Quentin Tarantino was planning to shoot a Western? Well, looks like he’s galloping full speed ahead with production of Django Unchained – tentatively set for a Dec. 25, 2012 release — with a cast that includes Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz (an Oscar winner for Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds), Leonardo DiCaprio (as, no kidding, the villain of the piece), Samuel L. Jackon — and, according to the latest reports, Kevin Costner. The Wrap says that Costner is in talks to play Ace Woody, the henchman of a sadistic plantation owner (DiCaprio) who possesses the wife of a slave turned bounty hunter (Foxx). Stay tuned for further developments.
