Robb Walsh Returns To Restaurant Criticism

Launching a new periodical, be it print or online is a sketchy proposition. It requires an iron stomach and the attachment of at least one boldface name in order to have any shot at success. SagaCity Media, publishers of Houstonia magazine, a new monthly publication aimed squarely at the residents of America’s fourth largest city, have both. As for the big name, it's none other than Cowboys & Indians contributor and Texas foodways experts, Robb Walsh.

The former Houston Press restaurant critic, three-time James Beard Award-winning writer and cookbook author last wrote about Stephan Pyles and the chef’s newest restaurant, Stampede 66 for C&I’s December 2012 issue.

We wish him well and await his hunger-inducing reports.
