Our Tim McGraw Winner, and the Latest on ACM Nods
On Tuesday, we dangled a new Tim McGraw CD in front of your face. Said you could win it if you'd just do a couple of things -- "like" us on Facebook (and really, why wouldn't you?) and leave a comment telling us why you're a Tim fan.
Many of you did the liking, but a more dedicated few did the commenting.
On the subject of McGraw, Christy kept her answer pretty simple: "What's not to like? Family man, actor, singer and not bad to look at!"
Kaye said basically the same thing, but with a little more of that cowgirl spirit: "He's just damn hot and talented, with a sexy voice to match and great taste in women!" No word on whether "Kaye" is really Faith Hill's secret alter-ego.
But the best, and earliest, answer came courtesy of Kim. "His songs always hit home," she wrote. And that's really why any of us become lifelong fans of an artist. So, congratulations to Kim, the soon-to-be owner of the new McGraw CD, Emotional Traffic.
Keep a watch out here and on Facebook for more giveaways in the future.

Speaking of ol' Timmy, his touring partner Kenny Chesney racked up 9 ACM nominations, leading the pack. He's up against Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift for Entertainer of the Year at the country awards. And, congrats to former C&I cover girl Miranda Lambert, who's up for both Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year. Watch the ACM show unfold April 1 on CBS (or just travel to Vegas to be close to all the action.)
