Watch Nick 13's Video for 'All Alone'
Nick 13 is best known for his work as the frontman of the edgy rockabilly (also known as psychobilly) band Tiger Army, but last year saw the release of his first solo album.
Out now on Sugar Hill, the self-titled set went in a more country direction than anything Nick had been involved in before. And we're not talking modern country. The singer successfully melded the chugga-chugga rhythm of Johnny Cash with the stripped down, heart-rending cries of ol' Hank.
The imagery in the recently released video for the single "All Alone" fits the sounds perfectly. Clutter lovers will go crazy over all the stuff shown here -- old tube-TV cabinets, toy trains, analog telephones, typewriters, and so on.
As for the song itself, just try to keep those toes from tapping.
